Job summary

Barchester Healthcare in Rayleigh is seeking a Community Lead to oversee care in our residential homes, ensuring person-centred care that respects residents’ independence, privacy and dignity while guiding the care team.

You’ll perform clinical duties such as recording observations and simple wound dressings, while developing strong relationships with residents, families and home staff to maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level care experience to join as a Community Lead.
• Experience supervising others and coordinating a care team.
• Willingness to undertake the assessor qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire trust.

Responsibilities

• Record observations on weight and blood pressure and carry out simple wound dressings.
• Lead and supervise Carers and Senior Carers to deliver person-centred care.
• Build key relationships within the home and with residents' families.
• Model safety, integrity and a supportive culture.
