Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Community Lead for our residential care homes. You will lead and supervise our team of Carers and Senior Carers, ensuring person-centred care that respects independence, privacy, dignity and choice.

You will carry some clinical responsibilities, record health observations, and perform simple wound dressings, while building strong relationships with residents and their families to create a trusted, safe and enjoyable environment.

Formación

• Senior-level care experience within a residential setting.
• Experience supervising care staff and coordinating teams.
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or Advanced Diploma required.
• Willingness to undertake an assessor qualification.
• Compassionate approach with strong communication and integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise Carers and Senior Carers within the home.
• Record observations on weight and blood pressure; perform simple wound dressings.
• Build relationships with residents and families to ensure personalised care.
• Foster a safe, respectful and reassuring environment.
• Promote a vibrant, supportive culture for staff development.
