Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a Community Lead for our Residential Care Homes. You will lead a team of Carers and Senior Carers, ensuring person-centred care that respects residents’ independence, privacy and dignity while modelling a safe, supportive environment.

The role includes clinical duties such as recording weight and blood pressure and basic wound care, with a focus on building trust with residents and families through strong leadership and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Senior-level care experience
• Experience supervising carers and senior carers
• Willingness to undertake assessor qualification for professional development

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team of Carers and Senior Carers
• Record observations on weight and blood pressure
• Carry out simple wound dressing procedures
• Build key relationships within the home and with external stakeholders
