Job summary

BCG in the UK is seeking a Senior Carer to care for residents, delivering person-centred support to preserve dignity and individuality, and to supervise Care Assistants alongside the Nurse on duty. You will support the clinical team with medication administration, care plans and reviews, assist with personal care, and help with meals.

SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required; dementia care knowledge is desirable; PVG check and UK work authorisation are expected;

Qualifications

• You will need SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Experience in person-centred care planning and dementia care is desirable.
• Full training provided; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the clinical team with medication administration, assessments, care plans and reviews.
• Supervising and mentoring Carers.
• Assisting with personal care activities and meals.
