BC&G Homes Ltd is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to help provide a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for residents. The role involves leading care staff, following care plans and maintaining accurate records.

Applicants should have a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care, be confident using electronic care systems, and demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills. Pay is dependent on experience and a 37-hour week is guaranteed.

BC&G Homes Ltd is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant to help provide a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for residents.

Pay: Depending on experience.
Contract: Guaranteed 37 hours per week.
Working pattern: Weekdays and every other weekend.

Main responsibilities include providing high-quality personal care and support, leading and supporting care staff during the shift, ensuring care plans are followed and maintained, communicating with healthcare professionals, responding to changes in residents' health and wellbeing, completing accurate care records, supporting medication procedures, and promoting dignity, independence, choice and respect.

Applicants should have previous Senior Care Assistant or Senior Carer experience in a care home or similar setting, hold a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent, be confident using computers and electronic care systems, communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, work independently when required, and demonstrate good leadership and teamwork skills.
