Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Astbury Manor Care Home in Bracknell, Berkshire. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, compassionate and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The ideal candidate holds an NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in care, has at least two years of experience in similar settings, and can communicate clearly and with empathy.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and update care plans as needed.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and health professionals, addressing requests and concerns.
