Rowan Court Care Home, Newcastle under Lyme, invites you to join as a Senior Care Assistant. You’ll work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

This permanent role is 33 hours total with a pay rate of £13.77 per hour. A DBS check will be funded by Avery Healthcare, and you’ll have the chance to grow within the North Division.

Qualifikationen

• Must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.

• Deliver high standards of personal care.
• Provide a safe, caring, open and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervision and support staff development.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive , and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff .

Other responsibilities will include:

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

• Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Have 2 years’ experience working in similar care environment.

• Beresponsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
