Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant - Nights for Seagrave House Care Home in Corby. You will support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, welcoming environment.

You will have an NVQ 3 in care for care homes and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar setting, with strong communication skills and a flexible approach to duties. DBS disclosure and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and professionals, escalating concerns as required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
