Job summary

Avery Healthcare in Norwich is seeking a Senior Care Assistant at Mousehold View Care Home to join a warm, enthusiastic team committed to high standards of personal care and resident wellbeing.

You will work alongside the Care team to provide safe, compassionate care in an inclusive environment; NVQ 3 and 2 years' experience preferred; DBS check and right to work in the UK required. DBS and eligibility proof provided by Avery.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Positive attitude and ability to support and nurture residents and staff.
• Flexible and responsive to a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and update care plans as needs change.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning with monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Conduct staff supervision and support development where required.
• Serve as a key contact for residents, relatives, and health and social care professionals, handling requests and escalating concerns.
