Job summary

Crystal Care Collection seeks a Senior Care Assistant to lead the care team and deliver exceptional person-centred care in our luxury homes. You’ll mentor colleagues, support care planning, and ensure best practice across shifts.

You will safely administer medications, review and update care plans, and maintain accurate records while upholding safeguarding and health & safety standards. Bank contract with day & night shifts available.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience as a Care Assistant in residential or nursing settings is preferred.
• Ability to administer medication and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident's needs.
• Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents and review care plans.
• Safely administer medication and maintain medication records.
• Review and update care plans to ensure high-quality support.
• Mentor and lead less experienced team members and promote best practice.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and report changes promptly with accurate records.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, relatives and colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity for every resident.
• Ensure Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control compliance.
• Assist with meals, hydration and promoting independence; light housekeeping as needed.
