Job summary

Nurseplus is looking for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality care across a range of settings, from elderly care to people with learning disabilities and complex needs. This temporary role offers flexible shifts and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

You will work as part of a compassionate team, with training aligned to the Care Certificate and Core Skills Training Framework, plus ongoing development opportunities and a Blue Light Card benefit.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with right to work in the UK.
• Health and Social NVQ Level 3 or working towards this.
• Flexibility to travel to different care settings.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

Responsibilities

• Assisting service users with personal care and daily routines.
• Support with safe lifting and moving.
• Administering medication as directed.
• Meal preparation and companionship.
