Newcross Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Livingston, West Lothian. You will provide vital, person-centred care to service users in care homes, supporting daily living activities and clinical tasks within your competence.

You will work with nurses to implement care plans, keep accurate records, and help create a safe clinical environment. The role offers flexibility, ongoing development, and a supportive team.

Qualifikationen

• Right to work in the UK.
• Minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience in the last 3 years as a Senior Healthcare Assistant.
• Proven experience managing a shift in a care home setting.
• SVQ LEVEL 3 with proven medication administration experience.
• Registration as required (SSSC/SCW/NISSC where applicable).
• Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling.
• Compassion, teamwork, flexibility and a professional approach.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform clinical tasks within competency, including observations and wound care.
• Work with nurses to deliver care plans and maintain records.
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment and follow infection control.
• Support health promotion, long-term conditions, frailty, and end-of-life care with compassion.
