Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last 3 years, working in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role.
• Proven experience managing a shift in a care home setting (Required)
• Registration: Scotland/ Wales/ Northern Ireland require relevant registration (SSSC/SCW/NISSC)
• Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling.
• Compassion, teamwork, flexibility, and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting patients with personal care and daily living activities.
• Carrying out clinical tasks within your competency, including observations, wound care, specimen collection, and catheter and stoma care.
• Working alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver care plans, maintain accurate records, and support junior healthcare assistants.
• Maintaining a safe, clean clinical environment, following infection control procedures, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Supporting health promotion, long‑term condition management, frailty, and end‑of‑life care with compassion and dignity.
