Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd invites applications for a Senior Care Assistant (Days) at Tarring Manor in Worthing. The role is full-time, with 12-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm and includes alternate weekends.

You will deliver high-quality, personalised care to residents in a 75-bed nursing, dementia and residential care setting. We offer ongoing training, development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant Health and Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records where required.
• Support and mentor junior care staff, ensuring they provide excellent care.
• Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
• Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members.
