Job summary

Newportcarehomes is seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant for our residential home in Newport, South Wales. This role includes both part-time and full-time positions, with various shift patterns including night shifts.

The successful candidate will provide personal care, maintain client independence and dignity, and assist with medication and daily living needs. Training will be provided, and a happy, supportive work atmosphere is emphasized in our ethos.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant is desirable but not essential.
• Willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to Clients with various needs.
• Maintain accurate records of care and medication support.
• Attend in-house and external training pertinent to the role.
