Avery Healthcare in Knowle, Solihull is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Birchmere Mews Care Home. You will work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, supportive environment.

Requirements include NVQ 3 in care for care homes, 2 years' experience, strong communication, empathy and flexibility. DBS check and UK work eligibility are required and supported by Avery. The role offers opportunities to grow within a caring, award-winning team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
