Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm Senior Care Assistant for Astbury Manor Care Home in Bracknell, Berkshire. You will join a caring team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, respectful environment for residents, families and staff.

Key responsibilities include monitoring wellbeing, updating care plans, supporting residents with medications, and supervising staff development. DBS disclosure is required and costs met by Avery. Eligibility to work in the UK must be shown.

Qualifications

• Has an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Has 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Shows a positive attitude and flexibility to cover various duties.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and update care plans as needed.
• Participate in person-centred care planning with monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Conduct staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as key contact for residents, relatives and health and social care professionals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
