Job summary

Aurem Care Shared Services Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking compassionate, trustworthy individuals to support residents to stay active and independent. Experience in senior care and a caring approach are essential.

You will supervise a team of care assistants, assist with planning and monitoring resident care, and contribute to training. We offer a bank contract with 36 hours weekly, day/night shifts, a competitive hourly rate, and extensive staff benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous senior care experience.
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 desirable or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience in Medication management.
  • Enthusiastic about providing care.
  • Great values and compassion for supporting people.
  • You will be able to work well as part of a team and independently showing creativity and passion for the work you do.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Be able to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities.
  • Engage well with people we support in their continuing interests and supporting positive experiences.

  • Providing personal care, social support and making impactful and heartwarming memories.
  • Ensuring the needs of our residents are met through the use of our electronic care platform “Nourish”
  • Work within a committed team member
  • Showing positive caring values in all aspects of practice
  • To supervise, guide and support a group of care assistants.
  • To assist in the planning and monitoring of resident care.
  • Assist with care assistant induction programme and Core Training Programme
  • Any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for our residents.

  • Bank contract, flexible working on days/nights or weekends
  • We are currently offering 36 hours per week, inclusive of weekend work (bank hours also on offer)
  • Working hours: 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am
  • Hourly rate: £13.07 per hour
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
