Bupa's Heathland Court Care Home in Wimbledon is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a unit and deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will support the Nurse with clinical duties, observe and review care plans, and help manage shifts and staff.
The role requires previous experience in care and working towards or having an NVQ3 in care. You will work in a close-knit team within a well-equipped home that values quality and compassion.

Heathland Court is an elegant and spacious home situated in the leafy suburb of Wimbledon. It offers long and short-term residential, nursing and dementia care. The home is surrounded by attractive, well-maintained gardens, originally a private house, you will find many of its original features, including traditional fireplaces and high ceilings inside the grand stone building. There is plenty of communal space, with five well-furnished lounges and a conservatory for residents and families to relax and socialise. The home also has a hostess that is always on hand and an in-house resident hairdresser that visits twice a week. It’s close to local transport links, is a few minutes’ drive from the A3, has its own dedicated car park and benefits from a bus route stopping near the home, making an ideal location for visiting family and friends. Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients and try to cater for all ethnicity groups. Soon after a resident arrives at the home, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them. There’s a real sense of community at Heathland Court. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests.

You’re pivotal in running a unit, working with the Nurse to aid with clinical duties for the home. You’ll have completed / be working towards an NVQ3 in care.
