About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.
Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your duties may involve assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and providing physical and mental stimulation through social activities, alongside medication administration.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be working towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, ability to manage time effectively, and considerate communication are essential.
