Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts at Richmond Witney Village in Oxfordshire. You will be pivotal in running a care unit, handling all clinical duties including medication administration, reviewing care plans and maintaining accurate records.

You will lead a team of care staff, oversee shift handovers and support newly joined colleagues. We offer a starter bonus of £500 and a welcome bonus of £500, plus benefits like a free meal on shift and generous holiday entitlement.

Salary: £14.70 per hour & Excellent Benefits

Contract: Permanent fulltime/Part time

Shift Pattern: 8pm - 8am - Weekends on Rota

Welcome Bonus: £500

You'll help us make health happen by:

• Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit
• Responsible for all clinical duties issuing medication, reviewing care plans and accurate record keeping
• Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers of the teams
• Helping with training and supervision of new staff members so they feel welcomed and supported
• Building relationships with residents, their families and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses
• Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties

Because we care for vulnerable people, we'll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
