Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited seeks a Senior Care Assistant for Shipdham Manor in Shipdham, Norfolk. Night shifts from 22:00 to 07:30, 28.5 hours per week, with alternate weekends, at £13.70 per hour. The home provides residential and respite care and focuses on person-centred support.

You will assist residents with personal care, offer companionship, keep records, administer medications, and support the care team. Comprehensive training and progression opportunities are available.

Senior Care Assistant

Shipdham Manor, Shipdham - Norfolk

£13.70 per hour

28.5 hours per week 10pm - 7:30am (includes alternate weekends)

Shipdham Manor provides residential and respite care to elderly people living in Norfolk. The home is very friendly and the staff work hard to meet the individual needs of every resident – many assuming a variety of roles. The general environment and space provided are excellent. Staff abide by the motto, “care comes first no matter what.”

What would a typical day look like?

• Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
• Providing companionship and offering social interaction
• Maintaining accurate resident records
• Administering prescribed medication and updating medication charts as applicable
• Supporting and leading our existing care team
