Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited is seeking a Senior Care Assistant at Bilney Hall, Dereham. The role focuses on providing high-quality personal care, companionship, and accurate record-keeping for residents in a rural nursing home setting.

Working 24 hours per week from 8am to 8pm, with alternate weekends, the position offers induction and training within a supportive team committed to compassionate care. The home sits in six acres of grounds and values a caring, resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care is preferred.
• Willingness to undertake induction and training.
• Commitment to resident wellbeing and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing).
• Provide companionship and social interaction for residents.
• Maintain accurate resident records and charts.
• Administer prescribed medication and update medication charts as applicable.
• Support and lead the existing care team.

Set in six acres of beautiful grounds, in a rural location, the home celebrates its history and is a happy place to be.

What would a typical day look like?

• Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
• Providing companionship and offering social interaction
• Maintaining accurate resident records
• Administering prescribed medication and updating medication charts as applicable
• Supporting and leading our existing care team
