Located in the leafy suburb of Crosspool, The Porterbrook Care Home provides personalised Residential and Dementia care for up to 44 residents in a warm and welcoming environment.

We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team across both day and night shifts. If you are a natural leader who is passionate about providing person-centred care and supporting others to succeed, we would love to hear from you.

What We Offer:

• £13.00 per hour (Day Shift)
• £13.50 per hour (Night Shift)

What You Will Do:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead by example — supporting and guiding the care team during your shift, administering medication safely, and ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centred care. Whether on days or nights, you will build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, and contribute to a calm, caring, and well-organised home environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• Ideally working towards NVQ Level 3
• Experience in a similar senior care role
• Confident administering medication and supporting care teams
• A compassionate, reliable, and proactive approach
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skill
