We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant. If this sounds like the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you!

About the Role

Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of residents, noting any changes impacting care and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care monthly.
  • Supporting residents with medication management.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
  • Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring their requests are addressed and concerns escalated as needed.
About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
  • Be effective in verbal and written communication.
  • Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Be flexible and responsive to a range of responsibilities.
