The Cinnamon Care Collection invites applications for a Senior Care Assistant at Hartwood House in Lyndhurst. The role is full-time with night shifts, offering a supportive team, training and career development opportunities within a top 20 UK care home group.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), have medication administration experience, and demonstrate empathy, reliability and a passion for caring for older and dementia residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in care or equivalent qualification.
• CQC Fundamental Standards knowledge.
• 2 years’ experience caring for older people, including dementia.
• Medication administration experience with qualification.

Responsibilities

• Care for residential and dementia residents as part of a close-knit team.
• Promote choice, individuality and independence for residents.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to care assistants.

Hartwood House is a stunning 50 bedded residential and dementia care home based in Lyndhurst.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and reliable Senior Care Assistant to be part of our care team looking after our residential and dementia residents.

Our team members must have a real passion for care and want to work as part of a close-knit team supporting each other, and wanting to promote choice, individuality and independence to our residents at all times.

We are looking to recruit experienced Senior Carers who holds a NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification) and have a sound knowledge of care legislation including CQC Fundamental Standards. You will have supervisory experience, Medication administration experience (& relevant qualification) as well as being a supportive mentor to the care assistants.

We provide a comprehensive induction, support and training and encourage career development. You will need 2 years' previous experience gained from working with older people and people who experience dementia - previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant is desirable.
