Roby Lodge Care Home in Huyton, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide a care team in delivering high quality, person centred support to residents. You will manage shift flow, oversee medications, monitor wellbeing and respond to changes with a focus on safety and dignity.
The role requires Level 2 in Health & Social Care at minimum (Level 3 desirable) and essential medication competency.
Our 40 bedded home provides residential dementia care in Huyton and supports older people living with dementia. Roby Lodge is a welcoming home with a strong community feel, offering a supportive environment for colleagues to develop their skills and provide high quality, person centred care.
As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.
You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
