About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
You will plan and implement care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. Building relationships with residents and their families, you'll help deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be prepared to work towards a Level 3 qualification or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Your positive energy, ability to connect with others, good record-keeping skills, and effective time management are essential. You will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
