About The Role

Please note that this is a full-time role working 33 hours per week, nights only from 8pm - 8am.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and supporting social and recreational activities, including medication administration.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key parts of your role. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, and be willing to pursue Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for individuals with dementia is preferred. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, good record-keeping skills, and effective time management are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
