Job summary

Stow Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team of Care Assistants and to administer medications under the guidance of an experienced management team.

You will identify deteriorating residents, direct care, and support residents to live fulfilling lives while ensuring kind, respectful care. Liaison with healthcare professionals is essential, with weekend availability as required.

Qualifications

• L2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is required.
• Minimum two years' experience in care.
• Experience administering medications and leading a care team.
• Flexibility, patience and a genuine people person.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and support management.
• Administer medications and monitor residents' health needs.
• Identify deteriorating residents and direct care accordingly.
• Help residents live fulfilling, dignified lives.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Be available to work alternate weekends.

The skills you'll need

• L2 Diploma in Health and Social Care with the ambition to achieve L3
• Minimum two year's experience in care
• Previous experience of administering medications and leading a team of Carers
• Flexibility, patience, caring attitude and a real 'people person'
• A good level of written and spoken English
