Job Opportunity: Senior Support Worker

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a brand new, state-of-the-art care home in Holt, Norfolk. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

The flagship nursing home in historic Holt offers a luxurious and elegant setting, combining superb facilities. We provide residential, dementia, respite, and nursing care in a beautiful and well-designed environment.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Key Duties

1. Recognize and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
2. Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
3. Contribute to care planning and support worker coaching.
4. Promote the services offered when engaging with relatives, prospective residents, and inquiries.
5. Update and write care plans and resident documentation.
6. Make and report realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.
7. Administer medication to residents according to policies and procedures.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Genuine desire to care for others.
• Good team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience working in a care setting.

Salary and Benefits

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.50 per hour, totaling £27,144 annually. We have vacancies for both day and night shifts. Benefits include:
