Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm and dedicated Senior Care Assistant for Hinckley House Care Home in Leicester. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, supportive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ 3 in care, have 2 years' experience in a similar setting, and can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. DBS disclosure is required and eligibility to work in the UK must be demonstrated.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care homes.
• Two years’ experience in similar care environment.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support development.
• Act as key contact for residents, relatives and professionals; escalate concerns.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
