Job summary

PSR Solutions is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for a Glasgow care home on a permanent basis. The role is 33 hours per week with day shifts, paying £15.82 per hour, equivalent to £27,144 per annum.

Meals provided on shift, free on-site parking, and a pension are available. You will work to high standards of person‑centred care, lead the care team, and support individuals in line with care plans and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• N/SVQ Level 3 qualified (or working towards).
• Previous experience in a senior care role.
• Medication training is desirable; training can be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive and proactive with a genuine passion for care.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Willingness to undertake a PVG check.

A well-established and welcoming care home in Glasgow is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis.

The home provides high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive environment, with a strong focus on residents' dignity, independence, wellbeing and individual needs.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring residents receive high standards of care and support. You will lead by example, supporting the wider care team and helping to ensure care is delivered in line with individual care plans, best practice and regulatory standards.

What we are looking for in a Senior Care Assistant:

• N/SVQ Level 3 qualified (or working towards)
• Previous experience working in a senior care role

• Confident working as part of a close-knit team
