Job summary

Nurse Seekers are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider for a compassionate and experienced Senior Night Care Assistant to join their dedicated team within a residential care setting.

The Senior Night Care Assistant will lead, supervise and support night staff, ensuring residents receive dignified, personalised care overnight and that all care plans and documentation are accurately maintained.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Care Assistant in a residential setting.
• Completed Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Compassionate, empathetic and person-centred approach to care.
• Experience in leading, supervising and motivating a team.
• Strong organisational, delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible night-shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, individualised care tailored to residents’ needs and preferences.
• Leading, supervising and supporting care staff throughout the night shift.
• Delegating duties effectively and ensuring care tasks are completed to a high standard.
