About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will plan and implement care that provides our residents with a sense of security, dignity, and independence.You will get to know residents and their families, helping to deliver personalized care plans.Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence the team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness will be your guiding principle.Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will participate in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication.
One key responsibility is to keep accurate records and build strong team relationships.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to pursue Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. The essential qualities include positive energy, good record-keeping, effective time management, and kindness in communication.
