Job summary

Guthrie House Care Home, located in Edinburgh, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts to lead the night team and ensure a safe, well-organised environment for residents.

You will support medication administration, maintain accurate records and respond to changes in residents' wellbeing while guiding colleagues across the shift. PVG, pension and uniform provided, with 5.6 weeks annual leave for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care required.
• Previous experience in a care environment.
• Medication administration experience beneficial.
• Confident in leading by example.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Caring, reliable and professional approach.

Senior Care Assistant (Nightshift) Contract

• £14.50 per hour
• Full Time & Part Time
• Dayshift & Nightshift Available
• Two week rolling rota provided in advance, helping you plan ahead and achieve a better work life balance
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
