Job summary

The White House in Beccles is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our care team. You will provide personal care, companionship, and support with medications while keeping accurate resident records.

We offer induction and ongoing training through the Healthcare Homes Academy, plus a comprehensive benefits package. You will work 36 hours on days and 24 hours on nights, including every other weekend, at £15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Supports individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing).
• Administers prescribed medication and updates charts as applicable.
• Leads and supports the existing care team.
• Maintains accurate resident records and provides companionship.

Senior Care Assistant

The White House, Beccles

£15 per hour

36 hours per week on days - 8am - 8pm (including every other weekend)

24 hours per week on nights - 8pm - 8am (including every other weekend)

Located in the market town of Beccles in Suffolk, The White House is a beautiful period house with a number of elegant and airy reception rooms decorated to accentuate the building’s individual character. Providing residential and respite care for 31 residents, the home care team focus on kindness and compassion when meeting the needs of their residents.

What would a typical day look like?

• Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
• Providing companionship and offering social interaction
• Maintaining accurate resident records
• Administering prescribed medication and updating medication charts as applicable
• Supporting and leading our existing care team
