Job summary

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the cardiac and respiratory team in Guildford. The role involves managing specialist caseloads in the CCU and cardiac ward, with opportunities to supervise juniors and contribute to audits and service development.

You will be part of a dedicated physiotherapy team delivering seven-day care, with a focus on NIV, medical rehabilitation and cardiac patients. This fixed-term post runs for 12 months.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• BSc Physiotherapy is essential.
• Membership of CSP is desirable.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Respiratory/Cardiac Physiotherapy are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy to inpatients and relevant settings within the CCU and cardiac ward.
• Manage specialist caseload and contribute to daily medical team workload.
• Supervise junior staff and participate in audits and service development.
• Support seven-day service provision and emergency respiratory on-call rota.
