Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiac Investigations Unit. You will work in the cardiac cath lab, performing advanced imaging and complex PCI procedures as part of the 24/7 PPCI service.

The post requires independence in the lab (minimum 2 years), expertise in diagnostic testing, reporting, and patient care, plus ability to carry out device follow-ups for pacemakers and cover non-invasive testing when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the cardiac physiology department and work in the Cardiac cath lab.
• Take part in on-call rota assisting with coronary angioplasty during PPCI.
• Carry out device follow-up checks for pacemakers and manage non-invasive testing when needed.
• Perform 12-lead ECG, Ambulatory ECG, BP monitoring and exercise testing with reporting.
