Job summary

Ashford and St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a suitably qualified Senior Cardiac Physiologist to join our busy department, with involvement in both invasive and non-invasive services as our Invasive portfolio expands.

You will rotate through all aspects of the unit, work in a 24/7 on-call pattern, and contribute to high-quality diagnostics and device management including pacemaker/ICD follow-ups and remote monitoring.

Qualifications

• Substantive cathlab and pacing post-qualification experience.
• Experience with remote monitoring management is desirable.
• Willingness to rotate across both sites (Ashford & St Peters Hospital and Woking Community Hospital).

Responsibilities

• Undertake and teach diagnostic angiography, PCI, pacing implants and follow-ups, remote monitoring service and non-invasive diagnostics at a high level.
• Maintain a progressive learning environment within the department.
• Work within a 24/7 service and participate in weekend on-call rotations.
