Job summary

Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is seeking a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to join our Cardiac Unit in Leeds. The role involves performing a broad range of diagnostic tests and reporting to support medical decisions, with a key focus on cardiac devices and non-invasive testing.

You will hold a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent), RCCP/AHCS registration, and BHRS/IBHRE Devices Accreditation, with at least two years’ specialist experience post accreditation.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent) required.
• Registration to RCCP/AHCS.
• BHRS/IBHRE Devices Accreditation.
• At least two years’ experience at highly specialist level post devices accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of cardiac diagnostic tests in the cath lab.
• Interpret results and provide clinically relevant reports.
• Lead device follow-up clinics and ensure device function and programming.
• Maintain stock for cardiac devices and support audits and governance.
• Provide training, mentorship and CPD to junior staff.
