Job summary
HCA UK is actively seeking an experienced Senior Cardiac Physiologist to join The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham. You will provide specialist clinical expertise across invasive and non-invasive cardiology investigations, including respiratory testing, and support patient pathways within Cardiac Services, Cath Labs and Day Surgery.
This role requires HCPC/BSE/IBHRE registration where applicable, a strong background in invasive cardiology, and flexibility to cover hours from early morning to
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
- Extensive invasive cardiology experience
- Experience assessing clinical competency
- Experience with cardiac rhythm management devices
- Registration with HCPC/BSE/IBHRE desirable
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist physiological support across invasive and non-invasive cardiology investigations and respiratory testing
- Support diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheter Laboratories
- Work across Cardiac Services, Cath Labs and Day Surgery to deliver high quality patient care
- Monitor, analyse and communicate real time haemodynamic data for clinical decisions
- Contribute to service development and growth of the cardiac programme
