Job summary

PT Renewables is seeking a Carbon Lead for a remote UK role, permanent, offering up to £60,000. You will deliver carbon management projects for UK and international clients, lead technical delivery, and shape best practice in decarbonisation.

You'll work across Scope 1-3 emissions, LCA, EPDs, SBTi, and reporting frameworks, coordinating with clients and building long-term relationships while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in carbon management or sustainability consulting.
• Strong knowledge of GHG Protocol, Scope 3 accounting and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
• Experience delivering carbon reporting against frameworks such as CDP, CSRD, TCFD and SECR.
• Proven ability to build long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate greenhouse gas assessments across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
• Develop science-aligned decarbonisation roadmaps and long-term net zero strategies.
• Manage complex Scope 3 programmes, including supplier engagement and value chain assessments.
• Deliver Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), product carbon footprints and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
• Support clients through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) process.
• Act as the technical lead and trusted advisor for key client accounts.
• Ensure compliance with leading reporting frameworks including GHG Protocol, CDP, CSRD, TCFD and SECR.
