Job summary

PT Renewables is seeking a Carbon Lead to join a fast-growing sustainability consultancy delivering carbon and energy solutions for UK and international clients. This remote UK role offers permanent employment and a salary up to £60,000.

You will lead technical delivery across Scope 1-3, LCA, product footprints, and decarbonisation roadmaps, act as trusted advisor to clients, ensure compliance with GHG Protocol, CSRD, TCFD, and SECR, and help shape net-zero strategies.

Qualifications

Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or related field.
5+ years' experience in carbon management or sustainability consulting.
Strong knowledge of GHG Protocol, Scope 3 accounting, LCA and SBTi.

Responsibilities

Lead corporate greenhouse gas assessments across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
Develop science-aligned decarbonisation roadmaps and net zero strategies.
Manage complex Scope 3 programmes including supplier engagement and value chain assessments.
Deliver Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), product carbon footprints and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
Support clients through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) process.
Act as technical lead and trusted advisor for key client accounts.
Ensure compliance with GHG Protocol, CDP, CSRD, TCFD and SECR.
