Job summary

Global University Systems (GUS) seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee capital projects within higher education. This role involves managing refurbishments, fit-outs, and ensuring compliance with mechanical and electrical systems.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in project management and strong technical capability. Responsibilities include driving projects from feasibility through to handover, overseeing procurement, and maintaining compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering capital projects with significant M&E components.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, compliance, and design.
• Experience managing commissioning and handover of M&E systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of capital projects and oversee M&E systems.
• Manage design coordination, compliance, and operational readiness.
• Support property acquisitions with technical due diligence.
• Oversee procurement and contract management processes.
• Provide programme reporting, financial tracking, and risk management.
