Job summary

The University of Leicester is seeking a Project Manager to support delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital and revenue projects across the University estate. Reporting to the Project Delivery team, you will plan, implement and deliver projects from inception to completion, ranging from long term maintenance to carbon and energy reduction initiatives.

You will establish project briefs, support business case development, procure and manage professional consultant teams and contractors,

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering construction and refurbishment projects within a client-side, contractor or consultancy environment.
• Experience managing projects through all stages of development and delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and deliver projects from inception to completion across the University estate.
• Establish project briefs, support business case development and procure/manage consultant teams and contractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered to programme, quality standards and governance throughout the lifecycle.
