Job summary

Validus Risk Management Limited is seeking a high-performing Capital Markets Operations professional to join our growing team and scale our global operations capability.

You will own end-to-end trade lifecycle activities across FX, derivatives, and other assets, drive process automation with Excel, Power Query/Power Pivot, and work with senior management, front office, clients, and counterparties to ensure a robust, scalable operating model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in financial markets or capital markets operations.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle mechanics, market infrastructure, settlement processes and operational risk.
• Proven ability to take ownership of complex workflows and deliver under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trade lifecycle activities across FX, derivatives, commodities and futures, including trade capture, confirmation and affirmation, settlement, payments and cash movements.
• Reconciliations and investigation of breaks; regulatory and internal reporting.
• Support trading infrastructure onboarding and act as primary operational contact for counterparties, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Own process improvements, automation, and data initiatives across workflows; apply data insights to improve efficiency.
• Provide leadership support and coaching to junior team members and ensure control discipline.
