A leading international low-carbon energy organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Project Buyer to support major UK infrastructure projects. This contract role involves leading procurement for complex CAPEX projects, developing sourcing strategies, and managing supplier relationships. Candidates must possess over 7 years of experience in procurement within infrastructure or energy, and an engineering degree is essential. This role offers the opportunity to drive value in a high-impact environment while ensuring compliance with sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CAPEX procurement experience in infrastructure, construction, or energy.
• Strong knowledge of NEC / FIDIC and construction contracting.
• Commercially astute with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for major infrastructure and EPC / EPCM projects.
• Develop and execute project-specific sourcing and contracting strategies.
• Run competitive tenders, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk.
• Ensure compliance with governance, HSE, and sustainability requirements.
• Provide clear reporting and commercial insight to senior leadership.
