Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Portsmouth is seeking a Band 4 Senior Support Worker to join the CAMHS Early Help Team. You will support delivery of care and interventions for children, young people, and families, working with a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves organising interventions, managing waiting lists, analysing data with colleagues, supporting clinicians on duty, and liaising with schools and social care to coordinate services.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people with mental health needs.

• Ability to communicate complex information clearly, in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Organise interventions, run waiting lists, and gather/share data.
• Analyse data with the team to improve services.
• Support clinicians on duty and complete routine tasks.
• Contribute to community outreach events and engagement activities.
• Assess young people’s needs and liaise with professionals across services.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and share service updates.
• Signpost to external services and write correspondence to families.
