Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner for the Single Point of Access (SPA) in CAMHS, based at New Kings Court, Chandlers Ford. The role includes clinical leadership, triage, risk assessment, and crisis intervention to ensure safe, timely access to services for young people and families.

The successful candidate will hold current registration with NMC, SWE or HCPC, and have substantial mental health experience.

Qualifikationen

• Current professional registration with an approved professional body (NMC, HCPC, Social Work England).
• Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
• Degree/diploma level with specialist qualification and post-registration training to master's level equivalent relevant to the care group.
• Evidence of post-registration training in relevant service area.
• Completion of Mentorship Course / Practice Supervisor Course.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical leadership within the SPA team.
• Oversee triage and assessment of referrals with clinical oversight.
• Conduct comprehensive triage to determine urgency and needs based on risk.
• Gather detailed information on the young person’s mental health history and psychosocial factors.
• Formulate risk assessments for self-harm, harm to others, or safeguarding concerns.
